Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of goods to meet production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, supplier contracts, and pricing agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and process procurement documentation, including requests for quotes (RFQs), purchase orders, and invoices.
- Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with procurement software or ERP systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and optimize procurement strategies.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of local and international supplier markets is a plus.
