In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to source high-quality materials at competitive prices, maintain inventory levels, and drive cost-saving initiatives. Your expertise in vendor management and strategic purchasing will directly impact our operational efficiency and bottom line.

Responsibility

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet company procurement needs while minimizing costs.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable agreements.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and prevent shortages or excess.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery timelines, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Process purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any logistical or supply chain discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with finance, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with business objectives.
  • Identify and assess new suppliers to expand the vendor base and improve supply chain resilience.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports and cost analyses to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and cost-control strategies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with international procurement standards is a plus.
