Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to acquire high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and ethical standards.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities to optimize procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Resolve supply chain issues and mitigate risks by identifying alternative suppliers or solutions when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in using procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, assess supplier performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of industry standards, ethical sourcing practices, and contract law.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
