Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate their reliability, and assess material quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
- Manage supplier relationships, resolve disputes, and maintain strong communication channels.
- Analyze spending patterns and recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of inventory management, demand forecasting, and procurement best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
