Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet organizational cost-saving and efficiency goals.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for high-quality materials and services.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, and inventory tracking.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends, supply chain risks, and cost fluctuations to proactively mitigate disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and supplier communications for audit and reporting purposes.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices and company procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of contract law, vendor management, and cost analysis techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with international procurement standards and logistics is a plus.
