Responsibility
- Source, negotiate, and purchase high-quality goods, services, and supplies for hotel operations while ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors to secure favorable terms and reliable supply chains.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with department heads to forecast demand and prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate product quality, and benchmark pricing for optimal procurement decisions.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to track expenditures, analyze spending patterns, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure all procured items meet health, safety, and sustainability standards, aligning with CHM Hotels’ commitment to excellence.
- Generate reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and savings achieved for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with sustainable and ethical sourcing practices is highly desirable.
