Responsibility
- Source and procure raw materials and chemicals in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance to maintain high service levels.
- Utilize SAP for procurement processes, including purchase order creation, inventory management, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Monitor market trends and supply chain risks to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and prepare reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in SAP MM (Materials Management) module or other ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes in chemical manufacturing.
