In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end purchasing processes, manage supplier relationships, and ensure seamless material availability to support production goals. Your expertise in cost control, negotiation, and inventory management will be critical in maintaining operational excellence. Fluency in Mandarin is required to liaise with international suppliers and stakeholders.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic purchasing policies to optimize cost efficiency and supplier performance.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely material availability for production.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance) to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
- Oversee the procurement process, from RFQ to delivery, ensuring compliance with quality and timeline requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Analyze spending data and prepare reports to track budget adherence and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, cost reduction, and contract management.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and demand forecasting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
