Based in one of Bali’s most dynamic business hubs, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives. Responsibility
- Lead and manage all purchasing activities, including raw materials, components, and services, to support production and operational needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value.
- Implement strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to optimize stock and prevent shortages or excesses.
- Evaluate supplier performance, conduct regular audits, and address any issues to maintain high standards of service and reliability.
- Collaborate with finance, production, and quality control teams to align purchasing strategies with budgetary and operational goals.
- Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and innovative materials to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or porcelain industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and reducing procurement costs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory, and supplier diversification strategies.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
