Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to expand procurement options and enhance competitiveness.
- Conduct price negotiations and contract discussions to secure cost-effective terms without compromising quality.
- Monitor vendor performance, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and prevent supply shortages.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Oversee logistics coordination, including shipment tracking, delivery schedules, and customs clearance.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics, preferably in manufacturing or transportation.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and sustain vendor relationships.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and logistics best practices.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
