Responsibility
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize operational costs.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams to align logistics activities with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turnover) to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all logistics processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and negotiate contracts for cost-effective services.
- Utilize ERP/WMS systems to track shipments, manage stock levels, and generate reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory for communication with headquarters and suppliers.
- Proven track record in optimizing warehouse layouts, inventory control, and distribution networks.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma is a plus.
