Responsibility
- Lead and manage the procurement process for all hotel supplies, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with department heads to forecast supply needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to manage budgets and control costs.
- Oversee the procurement team, providing guidance and training to ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement sustainable procurement practices to support Marriott's environmental initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
