Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-effective suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new supplier opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, logistics) to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Evaluate supplier performance, address issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, including cost savings, spend analytics, and supplier performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or trading industries.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
