Responsibility

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet company procurement needs while optimizing costs and quality.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new suppliers.
  • Resolve supplier disputes and address delivery or quality issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance for reporting and auditing purposes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
