Responsibility
- Source and procure construction materials and equipment from local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best deals.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, ensuring accurate records of transactions and agreements.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies.
- Prepare and submit purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels for ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of construction materials and industry standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
