Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to secure high-quality materials, supplies, and services at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with department heads (F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance) to forecast procurement needs and align purchases with operational demands.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate product quality, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations in all procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements for auditing and reporting.
- Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiations, contract management, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to dynamic operational needs.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
