Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to meet company objectives and reduce costs.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and operations, to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and new sourcing opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in using procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operations is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
