Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for mechanical and electrical components to support automation projects
- Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to forecast material requirements and ensure timely procurement
- Monitor inventory levels and implement just-in-time purchasing strategies to optimize working capital
- Analyze supplier quality issues and drive corrective actions to improve product reliability
- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements
- Track and report key procurement metrics to management, including cost savings and supplier performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or automation industries
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis and market research
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with strong problem-solving skills
- Certification in procurement (CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent) is highly desirable
