Responsibility
- Source and procure construction materials and supplies from local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material requirements and plan procurement activities.
- Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternative sources as needed.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in construction materials.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
- Immediate availability to start is highly preferred.
