Responsibility

  • Assist in the procurement of office and operational supplies, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchases.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages or excess.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and place orders.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any discrepancies or delays in deliveries.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to assess supply needs and prioritize procurement requests.
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activities, expenditures, and inventory levels for management review.
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company procedures, budget constraints, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing or engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or procurement software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
