Responsibility
- Oversee and manage end-to-end ship repair, maintenance, and construction projects to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to streamline workflows and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Enforce strict compliance with international safety (e.g., OSHA, SOLAS) and environmental regulations in all shipyard activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and cost analyses for stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment on project deliverables and expectations.
- Optimize resource allocation (labor, materials, equipment) to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in shipyard operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or project management role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale marine repair or construction projects from inception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of shipbuilding standards (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register) and maritime regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and CAD tools.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
