Are you a seasoned Public Relations professional passionate about shaping the next generation of communicators? Ioda Academy, powered by PT Talenta Edukasi Sekumpul, is seeking an expert Project Mentor for our flagship Project Immersive program in Jakarta Selatan.
In this role, you will transition from traditional practice to professional mentorship, guiding students through real-world PR challenges. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academic theory and industry execution, helping participants develop high-impact PR strategies, crisis management skills, and professional networking capabilities. Responsibility
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to students enrolled in the Project Immersive PR curriculum.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on student project deliverables, including press releases, media kits, and strategic PR plans.
- Conduct periodic workshops or deep-dive sessions on current PR trends and digital communication tools.
- Monitor student progress, identify learning gaps, and offer personalized support to ensure competency development.
- Facilitate industry-relevant simulations to simulate real-world PR agency environments.
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to refine educational materials based on latest industry standards.
- Support participants in building their professional portfolios for post-program career success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in a PR agency or corporate communications department.
- Proven expertise in media relations, content strategy, crisis communication, and stakeholder management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to coach and inspire others.
- Proficiency in modern digital PR tools, social media management, and monitoring platforms.
- Ability to commit to the Project Immersive schedule in Jakarta Selatan.
- Previous teaching, training, or mentorship experience is highly preferred.
