Responsibility
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and material sourcing.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure all structural works meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Resolve project-related issues promptly, leveraging problem-solving skills to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on structural engineering.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and HSE regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
