Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement project strategies to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Enforce stringent safety, quality, and environmental protocols across all project sites.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to site teams, fostering a culture of professional growth and high performance.
- Monitor financial performance, including budget forecasting, progress claims, and cost control measures.
- Resolve complex technical and operational challenges promptly to minimize project downtime.
- Present detailed progress reports to senior management and board members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, with a strong track record of leadership.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., PMP, PE, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore building regulations, codes of practice, and safety standards (WSH).
- Proven ability to manage high-value projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, AutoCAD, BIM/Revit).
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and risk management.
