Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end project management for the development and deployment of autonomous inspection robots in railway applications.
- Define project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, software, and hardware teams to integrate robotic systems with existing railway infrastructure.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new robotic inspection initiatives.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including railway operators and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee testing, validation, and troubleshooting of autonomous systems to guarantee performance and reliability.
- Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and post-deployment evaluations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on robotics, automation, or industrial systems.
- Proven track record of managing technical projects from conception to deployment in a regulated industry (e.g., transport, manufacturing).
- Strong understanding of autonomous systems, sensors, AI/ML, and IoT technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Knowledge of railway operations, safety standards, or inspection protocols is a plus.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
