Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end project governance, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards in financial services initiatives.
- Develop and maintain PMO frameworks, including methodologies, templates, and best practices tailored to banking and fintech projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders (internal and external) to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Prepare and present executive-level reports on project progress, financials, and KPIs to senior management and clients.
- Facilitate resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload balancing across multiple projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III, AML, KYC) and internal audit standards in all project activities.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending process optimizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field; Master’s or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO, project management, or consulting, with at least 3 years in banking/financial services.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale IT or transformation projects in financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet) and financial service frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a focus on delivering results.
