Responsibility
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Conduct feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and cost-benefit analyses to support project decision-making.
- Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines in all project activities.
- Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and post-project reviews to senior management.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project engineering for Project Engineer role; 7+ years for Senior Project Engineer.
- Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects, preferably in the energy, power generation, or industrial sectors.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO) and regulatory requirements for mechanical systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
