Responsibility
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of manufacturing programs, from planning and execution to delivery and post-production review.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency in contract manufacturing.
- Oversee production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment with technical specifications and client requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to maintain operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, to streamline processes and enhance competitiveness.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure timely procurement of materials and adherence to cost-effective sourcing strategies.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork among manufacturing staff, providing leadership and mentorship to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within contract manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Proven expertise in program management, production planning, and process optimization in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TQM, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and implement actionable insights for operational improvements.
- Familiarity with automation, robotics, or precision engineering is highly advantageous.
