Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with a professional demeanor.
- Present menus, explain specials, and provide personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring attention to dietary restrictions or allergies.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, adhering to high standards of presentation and service.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, anticipating requests and resolving concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, including tables, linens, and utensils.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash/credit transactions with integrity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume or upscale establishment (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings, with the ability to describe menu items enticingly.
