Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, adhering to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Manage cash transactions, process payments, and handle the point-of-sale (POS) system with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, including restocking supplies and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Educate customers about our menu offerings, including coffee origins, brewing methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume café or restaurant.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and milk steaming/frothing.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in drink preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
