Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables with professionalism and courtesy.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure all dishes are presented according to restaurant standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, anticipating requests and resolving any concerns with efficiency.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of meals and drinks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash/credit transactions with integrity.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (luxury or fine dining preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for customer service.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, as well as basic wine service (training provided for the right candidate).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Well-groomed appearance and adherence to the restaurantâs dress code.
- Basic computer skills for order-taking systems (POS) are advantageous.
