Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly, adhering to presentation standards and guest expectations.
- Process payments (cash, card, or digital) accurately and provide receipts with a courteous farewell.
- Maintain a clean, organized dining area, including table settings, condiments, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a café, restaurant, or hotel (preferably in a high-volume or luxury setting).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and payment processing.
- Impeccable grooming and a positive, guest-first attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
