Responsibility
- Provide impeccable table service, including setting up, serving, and clearing tables with precision and efficiency.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions to assist guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas, including table settings, glassware, and cutlery.
- Assist in event setup and breakdown, including arranging decor, furniture, and service stations as required.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate event schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or catering service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Japanese, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, equipment, or supplies (up to 10 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.
- Willingness to travel to various locations across Bali as assigned.
- Certification in food safety or hospitality (e.g., AHLEI) is advantageous.
