Responsibility
- Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Take and accurately relay customer orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Set up, maintain, and reset dining tables, bar areas, and service stations according to established standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure timely and synchronized service during peak hours.
- Handle cash and electronic payments, process bills, and manage POS systems with precision and integrity.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all service areas, including dining rooms, bars, and storage spaces.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and reporting shortages to supervisors.
- Resolve guest complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (e.g., fine dining, resorts, or hotels).
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, or Japanese) are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to engage with diverse guests.
- Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems, order-taking software, and basic cash-handling procedures.
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance, adhering to company dress code policies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Certification in food safety or hospitality (e.g., HACCP) is advantageous but not required.
