Responsibility
- Operate and safely drive heavy-duty trucks to transport cargo over long distances, including regional and intercity routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, or other restraints to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, delivery records, and fuel reports using electronic logging devices (ELDs) or manual systems.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brake systems, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Indonesian Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (SIM A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a professional truck driver, preferably in long-haul or regional transport.
- Familiarity with Bali’s road networks, including Badung, Denpasar, and surrounding areas, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and cargo securement standards.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 kg) and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
- Excellent time management, navigation, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic proficiency in English or Bahasa Indonesia for communication with team members and clients.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by delivery schedules.
