Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of premium tea beverages, including traditional and modern blends, with precision and creativity.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering personalized recommendations and educating guests on tea origins, flavors, and brewing techniques.
- Manage orders efficiently, including taking payments, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in every detail.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the team to restock supplies, rotate inventory, and ensure all ingredients and equipment are readily available.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist in daily opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and end-of-day reports.
- Stay updated on new tea products, seasonal specials, and promotional offers to effectively upsell and cross-sell.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista, Tea Sommelier, or in a similar hospitality role, with a passion for tea and customer service.
- Strong knowledge of tea varieties, brewing methods, and presentation standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse, international clientele.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills, with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak hours, as required by the business.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management is a plus.
