Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, pour-over, cold brew, etc.) to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and brewers, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Create visually appealing latte art and customize drinks to meet customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new brewing techniques, menu items, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume café or coffee shop (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Creative flair for latte art and drink presentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic understanding of cash handling and POS systems.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Passion for coffee culture and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
