Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a warm first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Deliver orders efficiently and check back to ensure guest satisfaction with their meals.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table settings, condiments, and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with diplomacy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and timely order fulfillment.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and provide itemized receipts upon request.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, or specials to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting (preferably in a high-volume environment).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 10 kg (e.g., trays, supplies).
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Neat, professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
