Responsibility
- Oversee daily bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Develop and maintain a creative, high-quality cocktail menu with a Japanese-inspired twist.
- Train, mentor, and lead a team of bartenders and support staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for beverages and bar supplies.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create cohesive food and drink pairings.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects Japanese hospitality principles.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bar Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese-inspired cocktails, sake, and mixology techniques.
- Proven ability to manage a team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Japanese is a plus).
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Creative mindset with a passion for crafting unique beverage experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Relevant certification in mixology or hospitality management is an advantage.
