Responsibility
- Translate project documents, reports, and communications between Indonesian, Chinese, and English with high accuracy
- Localize content to ensure cultural appropriateness and clarity for target audiences
- Assist in cross-cultural communication between international teams and local stakeholders
- Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, syntax, and consistency
- Maintain glossaries and translation memories for recurring terminology
- Collaborate with project managers to understand context and technical requirements
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Provide interpretation support during meetings or conference calls when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Fluency in Indonesian, English, and Mandarin (written and verbal)
- Minimum 2 years of professional translation experience, preferably in a project-based environment
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions in all working languages
- Proficiency with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ) is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team
- Willingness to work overtime when project deadlines require
