Responsibility
- Translate business documents, emails, and contracts from Mandarin to English and vice versa with high accuracy.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, calls, and negotiations between Indonesian and Chinese stakeholders.
- Localize content to ensure cultural appropriateness and clarity for target audiences.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to maintain consistency with company terminology and style.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication across departments.
- Maintain a glossary of industry-specific terms and update translation memories for efficiency.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and marketing materials in both languages.
- Stay updated on language trends, business terminology, and industry developments.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (HSK 6 or equivalent) and professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Proven experience as a translator or interpreter in a business or corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of business, legal, or technical terminology (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in a multicultural work environment.
