Responsibility
- Translate business documents, emails, contracts, and presentations from Mandarin to English/Indonesian and vice versa with high accuracy.
- Ensure translated content retains the original meaning, tone, and context while adhering to industry-specific terminology.
- Edit and proofread translations for grammar, clarity, and cultural appropriateness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to localize content for international markets.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive business communications.
- Research industry-specific terminology and stay updated on linguistic nuances in both languages.
- Assist in interpreting during meetings, calls, or negotiations when required.
- Manage translation projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) with native or near-native proficiency.
- Excellent command of English (additional proficiency in Indonesian is a plus).
- Proven experience in translation, interpretation, or a related field (business, legal, or administrative preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., CAT tools, glossaries) is advantageous.
- Cultural awareness and understanding of business etiquette in Mandarin-speaking regions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
