Responsibility
- Translate written documents from Mandarin to Indonesian/English and vice versa with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure translations maintain the original meaning, tone, and context while adhering to cultural nuances.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to eliminate errors and improve readability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify terminology and ensure consistency across projects.
- Manage translation projects efficiently, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and linguistic trends in Mandarin, Indonesian, and English.
- Assist in localizing content to ensure it resonates with the target audience.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Studies, or a related field.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin and fluency in Indonesian and English.
- Proven experience as a translator, preferably in a professional or corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to adapt content accordingly.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in all three languages.
- Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., CAT tools) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
