Responsibility
- Safely operate and maintain company lorries for the transportation of agricultural materials, machinery, and goods.
- Ensure timely delivery of shipments to farms, businesses, and retail outlets across Bali.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Handle unexpected situations (e.g., traffic delays, road closures) professionally and proactively.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B or higher commercial driving license (Indonesian or equivalent).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a lorry/truck driver, preferably in logistics or agriculture.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Familiarity with Bali’s roads, traffic patterns, and delivery routes is a plus.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle repairs or troubleshooting.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is advantageous.
