Responsibility
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals for hotel guests, adhering to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients where possible.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during peak service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to minimize waste and control costs.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Adapt recipes and cooking methods to accommodate dietary restrictions and guest preferences.
- Participate in staff training and contribute to continuous improvement in kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook, chef, or kitchen assistant in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Familiarity with Indonesian cuisine and international dishes is a plus.
- Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High standards of personal hygiene and food safety awareness (HACCP certification is advantageous).
