Responsibility
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and timely service.
- Provide accurate wait times and update guests as needed with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with a solution-oriented approach.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting area.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or high-volume periods.
- Uphold Magic Garden Cafe’s service standards and brand reputation through consistent, high-quality interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor with a passion for guest satisfaction.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and reservation software (training provided).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Bali’s tourism industry and cultural sensitivity to diverse guests.
