Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and ensuring a seamless dining experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and timing in accordance with restaurant protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely delivery of meals to guests
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens to answer guest inquiries confidently
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, following proper cash handling procedures and maintaining financial integrity
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas, including table arrangement, utensil placement, and general restaurant preparation
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns or complaints, escalating issues to management when necessary
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and service stations
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in food service or hospitality roles (previous restaurant experience preferred)
- Basic English communication skills; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Russian, etc.) are a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or equipment weighing up to 10kg
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices (certification is a plus)
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
