As a Driver & Delivery Assistant, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations. Beyond driving, you'll provide essential support in loading and unloading deliveries, verifying shipment details, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle. Responsibility
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations across Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and surrounding areas.
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring all items are handled with care and securely fastened for transport.
- Verify shipment details, including quantities, destinations, and delivery schedules, to ensure accuracy and timely deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, performing basic checks such as fuel levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels before and after each trip.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients, confirming delivery details, and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure the well-being of yourself, passengers, and cargo.
- Keep accurate records of delivery times, mileage, and any incidents or delays encountered during trips.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Indonesian driver's license (SIM A or SIM C) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in delivery or logistics.
- Familiarity with Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and surrounding areas, including knowledge of local traffic patterns and shortcuts.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 25 kg) as needed.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required by delivery schedules.
