Responsibility
- Assist assigned sales personnel in the daily delivery and distribution of Commonwealth Foods products to customers.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any issues encountered.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any delivery-related concerns.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, the vehicle, and the products.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in the retail or consumer products industry.
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as part of the loading and unloading process.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in driving or logistics are a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
