Your expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks will be instrumental in ensuring project success from planning to execution. Responsibility
- Develop precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural, structural, or mechanical projects using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and convert them into technical blueprints.
- Review and validate drawings for accuracy, compliance with standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI), and adherence to project requirements.
- Modify and update existing drawings based on feedback, revisions, or site conditions to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Organize and maintain digital drawing files, versions, and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Assist in material takeoffs and cost estimations by extracting data from technical drawings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and best practices in drafting and design.
- Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and quality control standards while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Drafter, CAD Technician, or Design Specialist in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software (certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, dimensions, and annotations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is advantageous.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
